Welcome to International Biotechnology Conference 2023

Konsorsium Bioteknologi Indonesia (KBI) was established by three Inter Universities Center (IUC) or Pusat Antar University (PAU) in Indonesian, namely the Biotechnology PAU of IPB, ITB and UGM on 29th September 1992. KBI is a scientific organization that conducts development and application of science and technology in the field of biotechnology. KBI members are institutions engaged in biotechnology, and also individuals, government and/or private bodies, institutions, and industries. The legal basis for KBI is Akta KBI No. 30, dated 14th October 1994.
The activities of KBI are (1) Bring together government and/or private bodies, institutions and industries engaged in biotechnology; (2) Conduct communication or relations and establishing cooperation with governmental and / or private bodies, institutions and industries engaged in biotechnology and related fields abroad; and (3) Assist the government in the development of various sectors related to biotechnology.
Biotechnology Study Program of Universitas Negeri Malang is pleased to host the Congress of IBC in conjunction with The 9th Indonesia Biotechnology Conference (IBC-9), The 11th International Symposium of Innovative Bioproduction on Biotechnology and Bioengineering (ISIBio-11), and The 5th International Conference on Natural Resources and Life Sciences (NRLS-5). This congress, conference, symposium, and workshop are open to students, academics, researchers, government bodies, practitioners and stakeholder from various disciplines related to biotechnology.
The congress, conference, symposium, and workshop will feature 2 days research presentation in the form of a hybrid conference to discuss with experts and participants for summing up the common conclusion and one day excursion or workshop. In addition to daily keynote and plenary lectures and six streams of afternoon symposia, the scientific programme will include a trade exhibition and presentations by KBI members from industries. In line with the ISIBio annually tradition, we will promote the participation of young scientists by encouraging them to submit their original work to be considered for presentation as short talks. This occasion will be followed by a field visit to Bromo Mountain or a workshop for selected participants.
